The design of "Meeting Future" is a stark contrast to traditional sales centers. Its unique properties lie in its bold use of color and form. The bright red staircase spirals upwards, creating a striking contrast against the white tones of the space. Meanwhile, a red decorative ball runs longitudinally through the space, adding a dynamic and distinguished element that transforms the area into an art exhibition hall.
The design realization of "Meeting Future" is a testament to Percept Design's innovative approach. The designers have subtly incorporated buildings into the space, breaking the routine and creating a futuristic feel. The large-area curve blank on the wall and the red decorative ball create a harmonious tension within the space, reflecting a stable and distinguished grey color system.
With a total area of about 1950 square meters, "Meeting Future" offers an immersive experience. The design interaction is centered around creating a pleasant environment that blends objects, visuals, and spatial experiences. The bold use of color, particularly red and white, creates a scattered but orderly space experience that is both dynamic and moving.
The project was carried out in JiNan, China, from February to July 2019. The designers faced the challenge of envisioning the future in a traditional cultural city. They overcame this by using a pure color scheme and a futuristic streamline design to expand the imagination and create a space that is functional, qualitative, and anticipatory of the industrial park.
"Meeting Future" has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, technical excellence, and artistic skill. "Meeting Future" is a testament to Percept Design's commitment to creating spaces that not only serve a functional purpose but also inspire and engage.
